ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Thanks to Artificial Intelligence(AI), Machine Learning(ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Speech Technology, which are enabling the development of Virtual Assistants in user-facing applications and working in the background to automate workflows. AI driven solutions like speech recognition systems are more accurate and efficient and makes it easier to identify and understand the components of natural language. These models can be used for voice recognition services, making an NLP service well-rounded and more efficient for various domain including medical (e.g. speech impaired people), forensics and academics and others. IGDTUW in Technical Collaboration with IBM is organizing this two days conference to foster scientific talk exchange among the Industry Practitioners, Researchers, Scientists, Students and Engineers for the second time. It will involve Paper presentations, Tutorials and Key Note Speeches by Eminent Personalities on these technologies. The Proceedings of the Conference will be published by Taylor and Francis and will be recommended for SCOPUS indexing.

ABOUT IGDTUW

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi was established by Delhi Government in May 2013 vide Delhi State Legislature Act 9, 2012 in order to play a major role in the capacity building and imparting high quality technical education to the Women of our country. In last seven years, the University has achieved a number of milestones and has been awarded the 2nd fastest growing university by India Today group. University has also achieved ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certification. Most recently, IGDTUW participated in the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Ranking and has been ranked 21st in the special category “Entrepreneurial Spirit” and overall 77th position in “WURI: Innovative Universities for 2020”. The University is located in the heart of Delhi at Kashmere Gate with the lush green campus which is spread over approximately 12 acres of land surrounded by a serene environment. Facilities provided in the University are unmatched and has state-of-the-art infrastructure.

University has signed several MoUs with leading industries including NASSCOM Foundation, IBM, Cyberpeace Foundation, Fluor Daniel, EATON and several others for technical upgradation of students. IGDTUW has also received research and project grants from various Government and Private agencies including of Rs.363 Lakhs from Department of Science and Technology for consolidation of University Research and Excellence and Rs. 70 Lakhs for establishing Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence.

University has strong and active linkage with various Government bodies including DSSSB, MCD, Delhi Police and others for providing consultancy and technical support on emerging areas like Cyber Security, Forensics, Artificial Intelligence and others.
